I like to do a base coat before using the palette knife as it makes it much easier to cover the background. particularly with acrylics

Todays Palette Knife painting class, Noosa painting Classes
Acrylic Palette Knife painting
Using the palette knife is great way to free up your painting style especially those who have an instinctively orderly mind. The other advantage I particularly love is that cleaning up is so easy, no brushes to clean, how good is that. This painting is 8x8", most of the class used a larger format and we need to add a few finshing touches. I will upload the completed paintings after next class next week, so please check back to see
